Sweet Jesus I Hate These People

In all honesty, I would post this quote if anyone of any importance had spoken it since it is so disgustingly false:

Gov. Sarah Palin linked the war in Iraq with the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, telling an Iraq-bound brigade of soldiers that included her son that they would “defend the innocent from the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans.”

Has she even been paying attention? Or is she so caught up in the partisan justification of the war in Iraq that she cannot even tell the truth when her son is starting his tour.

I give up.

  1. Don’t give up. Spread the word.

“Republican presidential nominee John McCain, a self-proclaimed tell-it-like-it-is maverick, keeps saying his running mate, Sarah Palin, killed the federally funded Bridge to Nowhere when, in fact, she pulled her support only after the project became a political embarrassment. He said Friday that Palin never asked for money for lawmakers’ pet projects as Alaska governor, even though she has sought nearly $200 million in earmarks this year. He says Obama would raise nearly everyone’s taxes, when independent groups say 80 percent of families would get tax cuts instead”.

He’s weaving a tangled web. He’s also paying for his hasty, rash decision to include Palin on his ticket. Lets’ hope American voters see through the lies.

  2. There is little question that Palin is out to lunch. But, the real question is are the American people out to lunch too. Will they buy all that despicable and outrageous fear mongering at the RNC or will they wake up and realize that 9/11 has been adopted as a partisan trade mark rather then the tragedy it really is. They focused a lot on the horror of the spectacle but no attention to the real meaning of the enormous loss of life and bravery of the first responders that they have largely ignored all this time other than to use them for partisan symbolism for abusive politics that many of the dead would probably not support what they did and do in their names if they could speak for themselves now. When can anyone quote any of the departed arguing for the cancellation of the Bill of Rights and civil liberties? When can anyone quote any of the departed arguing for the invasion of Iraq and the killing of 40,000+ and maiming of 32,000+ Americans? Palin’s statement is worse than just being uninformed but is the same partisan rhetoric that has been used to run this country into the ground by instilling fear into the people to look the other way while they do it. From painting the opposition as being soft on terrorism, where is the showing that the GOP was even on target to invade Iraq that had no WMDs, did not attack America on 9/11, and has no al Qeada connections to justify not going after bin Laden in Afghanistan with full force. For some eight years now they have been selling us snake oil. Isn’t it time the people select a change? Yet, McCain boasts and claims he knows how to catch bin Laden but the question that that statement begs is why then hasn’t he brought that plan to the attention of the powers in charge of the effort rather than hold off on that disclosure until and unless he is elected. Obviously the country does not come first as McCain claims but rather he and his election does.

  3. She’s an idiot.
