Palin Wisdom

Since most of the coverage on this site of Gov. Palin has been negative, I felt it only fair to give credit where credit is due: She readily admits that Iraq was a war for oil. While I fully expect her to change her tune under the pressure of McCain’s support of said “legitimate” war, it was nice to hear a national candidate acknowledge what everyone else pretty much already knows.

We are a nation at war and in many [ways] the reasons for war are fights over energy sources, which is nonsensical when you consider that domestically we have the supplies ready to go.

  1. Well, for gosh sakes, this woman is way off the mark !!

Everybody knows we went to war in Iraq over WMD. When they didn’t find them, we went to war to liberate. When that backfired in our faces, we went to war to eliminate Saddam.

War for oil? What kind of leftie is this Palin?

  2. The only reason she says that is because she loves to get up on the soapbox for drilling in the Alaska wildlife refuge.

Also, watch your grammar again Mr. Legal Eagle. “Here” should be “hear.”

  3. I’m very exciited, and couldn’t be happier that McCain chose Palin!

The only one more qualified is the woman who beat her for beauty queen in 1984.
