On the Supremes

Not to beat the Warren forum into the ground, but McCain had an interesting comment about his opinion of the Supreme Court justices he would not have nominated given the opportunity to. He named Ginsburg, Breyer, Souter and Stevens. Aside from disagreeing with him on a con law policy standpoint, I think it is interesting that McCain, well, voted to confirm three of the four nominees he now disavows (the fourth he couldn’t vote on because he wasn’t in the Senate during the confirmation of Stevens). I only wish the Dems were as good at blowing up somewhat inconsequential things like this into examples of “flip-flopping” as the Republicans are. In any case, here is the transcript from the forum.
